About us

Pockit Goods, founded in 2025 by John Cheng and Daniel Chou, was born out of a need for a grounding presence in an increasingly digital and unstable world.

We love notebooks. They serve as our daily companions, capturing sketches, thoughts, recipes, and inspirations that we encounter throughout our lives. John alone can go through 30 notebooks in a single year.

As graphic designers, our work in digital spaces often requires rigidity and grid-based rules. Hand-making our notebooks reminds us of the tactile significance of texture, the weight of holding something substantial in our hands, and the unexpected beauty that can be found in imperfections.
